Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: Engage in Lead-to-Prospect development to include cultivating relationships based on genuine interest and understanding of prospect needs. Apply the CROSS Sales Process and on-time maintenance of lead development logs throughout the entire prospect-to-client journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· External and Internal lead development
o This “hunter” role will find, develop, and qualify new leads for CROSS
o Review “lead retrieval” lists weekly, communicating with former prospects with intention to re-activate their interest in CROSS
o Source and invite to CROSS industry “influencers” to begin a relationship of qualified lead referrals
o Identify and pursue potential clients and develop lasting relationships with them
o Lead the Process Review Meeting present the CROSS process to the client
o Be familiar with past projects and reference the library as necessary to inspire clients
o Engage designer to help maintain interest and inspiration in upcoming process
o Maintain relationships with architecture and design firms, requesting referrals
o Attend trade shows as requested and stay in tune with our vendors for use in suggesting new ideas to clients
· Transform Development Projects into Successful Construction Contracts
o Manage multiple potential clients at a time staying organized and keeping in touch with clients throughout the project
o Attend Initial Consult with the client to understand the complete scope of work
o Discuss possible permitting, historical, and home/property owners' authorities with Estimator prior to Initial Consult to mitigate delays in project permitting approval.
o Assist the Estimator in understanding the scope of work for each project
o Present reviewed and finalized construction contract to clients
o Lead the Investment Review Meeting, walking the client through the cost table and explaining as needed
o Participate in Project Handoff and Pre-Construction Meetings
o Be available as a resource for clients and CROSS staff throughout the project
o Ensure that every Lead has the next activity documented in BT within the next business day
