What will you do?
- Oversees all aspects of the sales of vehicles and associated paperwork.
- Greets customer on sales floor and performs a needs analysis including make, type, and features of vehicle desired.
- Explains features/benefits and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road.
- Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database.
- Works with Sales Managers and F&I and negotiates sales price, lease payment, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount / rebates.
- Walks the lot and visually inspects inventory.
- Completes all paperwork and arranges for detail and delivery of vehicle.
- Delivers and familiarizes the customer with vehicle.
- Maximizes the customer experience.
- Assist Sales Manager with customer problems.
- Attends/completes required training and department meetings.
What are we looking for?
- High School diploma or GED; previous sales experience and college degree preferred.
- Prior sales / customer service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge and implementation of the company's policies, practices and processes as related to sale of vehicles.
- Ability to work with sales team and obtain required sales metrics.
- Problem solving of various duties involving sale of vehicle.
- Duties involving judgment to work independently, and modify / tailor existing methods, techniques and procedures to meet sales requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation is obtained and fully completed on each sales transaction.
- Meet the attendance and scheduled hours requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work, interact and be a team player with sales management and other sales employees.
- Communicate sales transaction with customers, sales management and F&I personnel.
- Ability to explain features and benefits of vehicles to Customers.
- As required, fulfill manufacturer certification requirements.
- Ability to negotiate, overcome objections and close the sale.
- Possess good listening skills and create an exceptional customer experience.
Pay Range: $3,000 - $10,000 monthly (compensation is based on sales commission)
