PURPOSE OF JOB: The Business Development Representive’s (BDR) goal is to meet or exceed their revenue quota by closing New Accounts and retaining/growing revenue within their assigned list of New Accounts, in the emerging Medtech/Medical Device Industry. Responsibilities include New Account Development, New Opportunity Development, and Retain and Manage New Accounts. The BDR will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to achieve their goal and ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services, according to client needs and budgets. This position requires familiarity with a variety of the sales concepts, practices and procedures.
What you will do: Under minimal direction
- Lead Generation:
- Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective lead generation campaigns
- Prospecting and Outreach:
- Initiate and maintain contact with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
- Utilize cold calling, email campaigns, and other outreach strategies to establish connections and nurture leads
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Understand clients' needs and tailor service offerings to meet their specific requirements
- Sales Presentations and Proposals:
- Develop compelling sales presentations and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our B2B services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and articulate the benefits of our offerings to potential clients.
- Develop SOWs, contract negotiations, and close the account
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in HubSpot.
- Provide regular reports on sales pipeline and progress to the management team.
- Attend conference, events, and other sales and marketing opportunities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years of new business sales experience with consulting/services background desirable
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on client needs
- Business-to-business sales experience
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, cloud based CRM software, cloud based task management/team collaboration software
