Sales Associate/Receptionist

We are looking for a retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all sales job duties. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards.

Sales Associate Responsibilities and Duties

• Greeting each Customer as they enter the store
• Assisting Customers on the sales floor with any product questions
• Stocking inventory
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases and maintain a balanced till
• Answering phones
• Light cleaning including but not limited to laundry, vacuuming, and mopping

Qualifications

• Customer service skills
• Ability to count money and keep a balanced till
• Must have previous experience in pet industry
• Knowledge of various pet food brands and other pet products preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy inventory items such as large bags of dog food (30lbs+)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
