Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently for sales transactions
- Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly sales floor and manage inventory
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, to interact with customers effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
