We're looking for passionate, plant-loving individuals to join our team as part-time Retail Sales Associates.
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store, creating welcoming experiences for our customers and helping them find the perfect plants and accessories for their spaces. Your passion for plants and excellent customer service skills will help grow our community of plant enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with a positive and knowledgeable approach, providing expert advice on plant care, selection, and maintenance.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash and credit payments, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Maintain the presentation of the store, including restocking products, organizing displays, and ensuring a clean and inviting shopping environment.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving shipments, labeling merchandise, and conducting inventory counts.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's success.
- Assist in creating engaging social media content and participating in store events as needed.
- Stay informed about new products, plant care techniques, and industry trends to provide the best advice to customers.
Qualifications:
- A passion for plants and willingness to learn about different species and their care requirements.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and work well in a team.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.08 - $22.97 per hour
