Job Description
- Ensure each customer receives outstanding service.
- Maintain awareness of all promotions and ads
- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals
- Assist in training and development of peers
- Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards
- Help in processing new shipments arriving at the store and help the team keep it organized
- Responsive to safety issues
- Aware of possible shoplifting activity
- Aid customers in locating merchandise in store
- Answer customers questions and provide information on products
Qualifications
- Must be able willing to work flexible hours including one weekend day
- Have SOME knowledge of basic hardware related products, but we will accept an open mind
- Excellent customer service skills, AKA being a nice person!
- Verbal and written communication skills are very important.
- Be a fast learner, cheerful with a positive attitude
- Previous experience in retail environment
- Knowledge of retail computer systems a plus
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
- A team player yet still able to work independently
- Bilingual a plus, but NOT required.
- Must be 18 years old or older
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (50lbs or more) from time to time
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store.
