Sales Associate
We are looking for a Sales Representative based out of our main office in Kalispell Montana is needed. Since 1997, We have represented growers of high quality certified organic produce. Our goal is to provide superior service to our growers daily. From sales and marketing, to crop planning, harvest management and quality control, we aim to provide comprehensive support to today’ s organic produce grower.
As a valued member of our team, this position is responsible for meeting sales goals and maintaining a professional image. This position requires the associate to continuously promote and sell products and services to existing and potential new customers via phone, video, and email connections. This role will also manage an assigned group of Program Account sales. Responsibilities for these Program Accounts will include but are not limited to service issues inquiries, new product needs, ongoing monitoring and tracking of the outlined sales and volume commitments. Interacts with Growers, Customers, and other Service Providers or Trading Partners. Works in collaboration with Management, Accounting, Sales, Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Logistics.
Days and hours of work are seasonally related to workload. In general, expectations are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a required break away from the desk for ½ hour each day. Longer days during peak seasons; evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Specific details regarding compensation and time off are outlined in a separate Employee Manual and/or Employee Agreement based on job description.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
- Must be a driven, service-oriented sales professional that can maintain existing business and is capable of cold calling and prospecting.
- Effective at cold calling and follow through with team and management. Must have a continued Hunter mentality with a large emphasis on finding new business opportunities.
- Must have great time management skills and be able to multitask and work well in stressful situations.
- Able to meet and/or exceed sales goals developed by the management team.
- Demonstrates qualities and skills necessary to be self-motivated, aggressive and disciplined enough to perform job requirements without requiring constant supervision.
- Is resourceful and innovative in acquiring new account information and peruses opportunities to increase sales, either through new accounts, prospects, or existing accounts.
- Demonstrates ability to grow client base and sales volume through new and preexisting industry relationships.
- Demonstrates administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs.
- Willing to take extra steps and/or the time necessary to ensure follow-through on details and be a creative and tenacious problem solver with strong attention to detail in time-critical situations.
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive attitude towards the job and accepts correction from owners/supervisor if mistake is made or constructive criticism is needed.
- Utilizes effective communication skills associated with interacting daily with co-workers and customers. Is positive/ constructive with co-workers in addressing any problems that may occur while order taking and or communicating with customers. Will report service-related issues immediately to management.
- Demonstrates ability to manage a diverse and high-volume book of business with emphasis on customer relations, customer satisfaction and client retention.
- Must be professional, punctual, and team oriented.
- Will immediately report any internal or external harassment issues to supervisor and management team.
- Willingness to travel to enhance connections and gain essential knowledge and continued growth. Comfortable maintaining high standards of client satisfaction even while working in the field away from the office.
- Knowledge and ability to use basic and industry specific software systems: Excel, Word, Quick Books, Famous and
PowerPoint as part of the daily job function.

Required Experience:
- Proven sales/profitability track record
- At least 1-2 years in Sales, produce/food industry preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
