Sales Associate

Responsibilities:
Welcome customers warmly and assist them in selecting floral arrangements or products

• Provide expert advice on flower selection, care tips, and arrangement customization
• Create a delightful and memorable shopping experience for customers
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
• Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the shop
• Assist with floral arrangement assembly and preparation
• Contribute to innovative ideas for seasonal displays and promotions
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to understand their preferences and needs

Requirements:

Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic retail math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts
• Proficient in phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries and resolving issues
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic knowledge of floral varieties and care techniques (training will be provided)
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
