Sales Associate

Responsibilities:

• Greets and responds to all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Working closely with customers to determine their needs.
• Answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with new products.
• Maintain the store’s visual appearance in high standards.
• Ensures proper merchandise presentation.
• Operates cash register in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains a clean work area at all times.
• Provides great customer service and assistance with product selection.
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Actively seek out customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years old
• Proficiency in English
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• Basic Math skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Must have retail/customer service experience
• Reliable Transportation
• Be willing to work all hours, weekends and holidays except for Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, as we are closed on those days.

MUST have knowledge and experience in vaping.

MUST be familiar with products sold at a headshop.

Positions can start immediately. Possibility for pay increases.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
