Sales Associate

We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team this market season at farmers/neighborhood markets in the Greater Portland Area. 

Responsibilities:

• Represent Stillweather Spirits at temporary markets in the Greater Portland area  in a professional, outgoing, charismatic, friendly, and enthusiastic way that is consistent with our company and branding.
• Load up personal vehicle car at the storage unit with everything they will need. There will be assigned set ups for each market that day. 
• Ensure you have all the supplies you will need including 2 cases of each product and pick up ice on the way. 
• Set up tent, tables, and displays at the assigned time and in the correct stall assigned by the market manager following all market rules.
• Set up display in an aesthetically pleasing way that represents the brand and is inviting for patrons. 
• Work the market. Provide knowledgeable information about our products and our story while providing samples.
• Enthusiastically seek out costumers at the market to sample our products.
• Make the sale.
• Manage cash box and Square to track sales.
• Communicate with market managers and other venders in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with and report back to the Stillweather team any needs or concerns. 
• Shut down the market and pack out what you packed in at the assigned time following all market rules and the direction of the market manager.
• Return all supplies to the storage unit and put everything away where you found it.
• Take inventory of what needs to be restocked and communicate to the team. 

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, temporary markets, or other related fields preferred
• Knowledge of spirits preferred
• OLCC servers permit required
• Ability to lift 30lbs is required
• Ability to set up a 10x10 pop up tent independently is required
• Access to a personal device with the Square app to track sales is required. 
• Current drivers license and a vehicle to transport supplies to and from markets is required. Mileage pay at market rate provided.
• Must be 21 or older to transport, serve, and sell product.
