Job Title:Sales and Consulting Arborist
Reports to: General Manager
Compensation: $85,000 - $125,000 salary + bonus

We are actively seeking a Consulting and Sales Arborist to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves advising clients on a range of tree care needs including maintenance, protection during development, best management practices, health evaluations, providing written proposals, and overseeing project completions.

Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with clients to assess their tree care needs and recommending management options such as pruning, removal, or Plant Health Care
• Developing Tree Protection Plans for construction projects and ensuring their implementation
• Writing proposals and securing agreements with clients for tree care projects
• Following up on site recommendations and ensuring customer satisfaction

The ideal candidate will possess:

• In-depth knowledge of tree biology, common diseases and pathogens, and the effects of construction on tree health
• Familiarity with local municipal policies regarding tree care
• The ability to identify tree species accurately and understand their biology
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and self-motivation
• A positive attitude and professional demeanor in customer and team interactions

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in Tree Biology, Biotic and Abiotic Disorders, Tree Preservation, and Plant Health Care
• Skills in pruning, tree inventory, management planning, climbing, rigging, and removal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Required Skills:

• A relentless passion for Sales and client satisfaction

Qualifications (All Preferred):

• Experience in consulting arboriculture
• Certification as an Arborist
• Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ)
• QAL License from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
