We are seeking a Sales and Bid Writer to serve as a key sales enabler to support growth strategies, and Sales and marketing efforts. This individual will play a key role in responding to RFPs and build the story between the company and clients.
Candidates must reside in IA, WI, IL, TX, MN, MI, FL, CO, AZ, or WA to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Pivots from project to project in support of growth strategies while aligning with high standards and deadlines.
  • Manages administrative and operational tasks and requirements in pursuit of new business and client retention.
  • Supports and communicates resource planning activities across specific assigned programs.
  • Serves as a resource across the program/project as it relates to project management, workstream leads, and readiness.
  • Builds internal relationships and external resources to best support business development objectives.
  • Assists with client site visits, prospect and client presentations, and coordination efforts in executing successful sales pursuits.
  • Serves as an advisor in preparing and rehearsing pitch teams.
  • Leads the assignment of key resources from functional departments to the proposal.
  • Supports data integrity, quality, and other KPIs as established by the company and its brand.
  • Provides support for the preparation of sales proposals, RFPs/RFIs, and presentations.
  • Coordinates with the Sales lead all aspects of the proposal delivery process: evaluation, project kick-off, initial response, refinement, proposal submission, and follow-up.
  • Knowledge manager for proposals. Assists how Humach’s value proposition is used in sales presentations and directly supports the preparation of pitch decks and proposals to support customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborates and provides direction with content on strategic proposals, including the development of strategic win themes and discriminators with editing as required – while ensuring a uniform tone.
  • Develops boilerplate templates, styles, graphics, bios, company factoids, and a database of references.
  • Translates messaging and concepts into visuals that communicate and solve a client’s needs.
  • Leads the assignment of key resources from functional departments to the proposal development process and efficiently manage the collection of information from the team.
  • Builds and maintains a central content library by extracting segments of past proposal material that can be used in future proposals, creating useful written segments or visual aids to be used across the organization to be stored in the library, ensuring relevant content created in other work groups or departments is obtained and indexed within this library and collaborating with other teams and departments to conceptualize and create material for future use in proposals and sales material.
  • Supports the creation of sales tools to improve sales effectiveness and sales operations.
  • Assists in the development and execution of sales plans, marketing projects, analyst presentations, execution of events and design and sales activity plans.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of BPO industry and market trends.
  • Ability to understand client needs, articulate value propositions, and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze bid requirements, evaluate risks, and develop pricing strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with bid specifications.
  • Experience in managing bids, proposals, or tenders.
  • Proficiency in managing the entire bid process, from identifying opportunities to preparing and submitting proposals.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software tools for bid management, customer relationship management (CRM), and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong PowerPoint acumen with the ability and creativity to translate messaging and concepts into visuals that communicate and solve a client’s needs
