We are seeking a talented SailPoint Engineer with an expertise in designing and implementing the SailPoint products. Capability to design solutions to support Sailpoint application, system, software and infrastructure integrations for Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM). Services include support to architecture, installation, configuration, integration, development instrumentation, policy development, ATO achievement and maintenance, and organizational change management. The selected candidate must be well versed in architectural best practices and applying them across a breadth of technologies to solve an organizational problem. You should be capable of articulating your views on the future development of technology to varying audiences, and you should understand the interaction between user identity and data. This role can be primarily remote with ability to travel to Alexandria, VA on 1 or 2 days a week or remote basis based on the client requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Senior SailPoint Engineer with 10+ years of experience preferably certified in SailPoint products(s) to assist in the implementation or administration of SailPoint. Works independently to address the customer's requirements to provide high end consulting services:
- Conduct design and information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand the Customer’s existing data sources and technical requirements for deploying and maintaining SailPoint product(s).
- Assist in the preparation of security artifacts involving SailPoint product(s) to obtain ATO for customer's enterprise environment.
- Assist the Customer in maintaining their deployed solution; this will be specific to the SailPoint product(s) deployed by the Customer.
- Support design and planning of new business applications utilizing SailPoint product(s) for the Customer’s infrastructure.
- Understand the Customer’s organizational structure and become familiar with the Customer’s data source owners, support processes and change management procedures to help in designing a solution that is scalable and sustainable.
- Duties will consist of installing, configuring, and patching of SailPoint products. The engineer will work with the Technical Project Manager and associated security team to prioritize and execute tasks required for solution delivery. Lead or assist in the analysis and refinement of client requirements, creation of technical documentation, product deployment and configuration, development of customized system enhancements.
Required Skills
- Must have experience with SailPoint products design and implementation services.
- Experience with systems administration tasks for Windows and or Linux. Experience with network domain administration including working with firewalls and identity stores like Active Directory
- Candidate to have great problem-solving skills and must possess a basic understanding of Websites, Web Applications, and Databases
- Experience to install complicated software installation and configuration procedures
- Must possess ability to be flexible and work independently on ad hoc technical activities and split time between multiple project tasking and activities.
- Proven ability to articulate technical specifications from business requirements.
- Experience with Ping Identity
- Experience with projects across development lifecycles (analysis through implementation)
- Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize competing requirements
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Must have minimum DoD Secret Clearance
- Able to meet DoD 8570 IAT II Certification requirements like Security + Certification
Desired Skills
- Experience with Programming languages like Java, Visual Basic, or scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with MS SQL Server and Oracle
- Ability to write SQL statements to interact with databases
- Ability to work with JSON and XML
- Ability to work with Web such as REST, SOAP, etc
Education/ Level of Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or IT related field
- Training or additional certifications are a plus.
