Local chemical distribution company in N Tonawanda looking for a Safety/technical Manager to join their team!
1st shift hours - 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
Salary based on experience, $60-75k+

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors degree with a chemical background preferred
-Must have knowledge of the chemical industry and it's regulations
-5-10 years of previous similar experience with Environmental health safety and security
-Knowledge on the handling and storage processes and requirements for chemicals
-Must have some basic maintenance experience
JOB DUTIES:
-Maintain regulatory standards for all storage, handled and transported chemicals for the company
-Convey technical details to customers and vendors as needed pertaining to products
-Manage all EHS&S documentation, training, standards and follow through of procedures by all staff
-Maintain inventory of interest for DHS purposes
-Maintain ACD Responsible Distribution standards and documentation (formerly NACD)
-Track and maintain inventory levels in the warehouse
-Prepare documentation and perform trainings on all material handling and storage methods
-Follow up on and monitor any safety issues as needed
