  • Provide safety/health and environmental expertise to plant staff, including consulting with and providing guidance to the Operations Manager.
  • Develop and implement safety and health programs to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety & health standards in support of GPI's safety and health guidelines.
  • Reviews all safety manual sections annually for compliance with current OR-OSHA regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and track employee safety/health training and plant environmental training in support of written programs.
  • Perform periodic safety and environmental audits. Develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop, track, analyze, and communicate plant safety statistics and plant environmental reporting and statistics including but not limited to hazardous waste generator status, Title V air emissions, SARA 312 and 3131 usage and reporting requirements, etc.
  • Coordinate GPI involvement with OSHA and regulatory inspections.

Ensures plant's compliance to 3rd party Functional Control / Pre-Requisite program requirements including
  • HACCP, SQF, and other customer-mandated programs.
  • Conducts annual training in HACCP, GMP's, Food defense, and Allergens
  • Provides support in the plant's Lean activities
  • Shares an obligation to protect and strengthen Graphic Packaging International's good reputation in our relationships with customers, employees, suppliers, competitors, investors, and governmental agencies, and to act consistently with our core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability, Relationships, and Teamwork

Salary Min: $80,600.00
Salary Mid: $107,400.00
Salary Max: $134,300.00
