Summary:
Safety Team Project Manager

The Safety Team Project Manager will combine project management expertise with advanced data analysis skills to enhance safety initiatives within the organization. This position involves overseeing Safety Projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations, and utilizing data-driven insights to continually optimize safety protocols. The successful candidate will manage the integration of technology and analytics to proactively identify and mitigate risks, fostering a safer working environment. This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks in parallel. The Safety Project Manager will own the project execution, be responsible for the project schedule, overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project team & quality assurance
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Schedule and facilitate key project meetings – conduct team status meetings and team status schedule.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement in safety performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety visualization tools for real-time monitoring.

Position Summary

The Project Manager position offers direct project involvement and collaborative work with various teamsand internal operations staff via email and in-person in a results-driven, fun and dynamic group/team based corporate culture. The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from conception to completion with specified deliverables.

This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks in parallel. The Project Manager will own the project execution, be responsible for the project schedule, overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project team & quality assurance
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Schedule and facilitate key project meetings – conduct team status meetings and team status schedule.
  • Route materials to approving departments
  • Enforce the use of company data programs such as Proof HQ and InTrack3

May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing / Communications

Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
