- Promotes the Atlas Core Values (Life, Heart, Mastery, Trust).
- Assists in Atlas-Behavior Based Safety by being a Safety Resource.
- Assists in Compliance with all Atlas and Project Safety programs.
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment.
- Participates in Training/Certifications/Competent Person programs.
- Work outdoors in typical New Mexico weather conditions.
- Project safety training, metrics, and reporting.
- May be required to work different shift rotations depending on the construction production schedule.
- Required to complete/submit field reports.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Certification(s) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
- Bachelor's degree in a safety and health related field.
- Demonstration of high integrity and work ethics.
- Must pass a rigorous background check and drug test.
- Certification(s) through a recognized safety and health organization/ association (e.g., OSHA 501).
- Relevant safety experience working in chemical or petroleum refining or similar industry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Must be self-motivated and dependable
- Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills.
Additional, not limited to:
- Electrical training - NFPA 70e Qualified person
- Crane training - NCCO
- Forklift training
- First Aid/CPR training
- OSHA 10-hour
- Respiratory Fit Test and Questionnaire
- Confined Space Rescue or attendant
Other Miscellaneous Qualities:
- Ability to travel, if so what 25% of the time
