Safety Management Coordinator

Position: Safety Management Coordinator

Duration: 2 Years Contract ( Possibilities for extension)

Client Location: Liberty, NC

Job Description:

Detailed Description of Responsibilities:

• Work with contractors to implement construction safety mgmt system & other safety requirements on Toyota construction sites.
• Provide safety leadership for new construction including mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
• Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
• Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness & accuracy of work being performed.

Requirements: Required Qualifications:

• The level of experience expected is between 5 to 10 years.
• Safety engineering degree is not required but considered a plus.
• OSHA 30 / OSHA 510.
• Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades.
• Experience with various parts of construction: Site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical.
• Experience reviewing and verifying JSA's developed by contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint & Excel

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• BlueBeam / AutoDesk Build Experience
• Greenfield site experience
• Experience working on multiple projects on same site

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

• Safety Management: 6 years (Preferred)
• Construction site: 7 years (Preferred)
• Site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical.: 7 years (Preferred)
• •BlueBeam / AutoDesk Build: 5 years (Preferred)
• Greenfield site: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 30 & OSHA 510 (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Liberty, NC 27298 (Required)

Work Location: In person
