Starting pay - $25.31 / hour (within the first year, pay progression will increase to $26.81 / hour).
As a Safety Facilitator, you will coordinate various aspects of the Safety Management System, including all aspects of the Behavior Based Safety program. You will act as a safety liaison to IWG teams and work with employees across the factory to understand potential BBS program issues and opportunities. You will spend time on the floor to increase understanding of risks and hazards and coach employees to follow appropriate processes to address safety concerns.

  • Review observation data, observation quality, and the frequency of observations and discuss/promote continuous improvement ideas and action plans related to the BBS program
  • Maintain historical records for BBS Steering Team, including trainings, action plans, and monitoring any follow-up activities
  • Communicate with key stakeholders on the BBS team's status, issues, needs and activities
  • Generate BBS reports and interpret related data, communicating the data to the factory as needed
  • Assists and supports in New Hire Orientation and LLT support as needed
  • Assists in the creation and execution of various safety programs, campaigns, and initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
  • 1+ years' of experience in a safety or compliance role within manufacturing, industrial, military, or related field
