Under supervision, the Building Inspector (Manufactured Housing) learns to perform inspections for compliance with policy, procedures, state, and federal regulations. While upholding standards to ensure safety and compliance.
Performs safety surveys and inspections.
Gains knowledge of changes in state, OSHA, NFPA, and other safety codes and regulations as applicable.
Learns to interpret and administer regulatory issues, technical issues, and analytical data to document compliance with safety laws and regulations to ensure safety.
Plan and coordinate inspections and audits of assigned facilities/sites for procedural compliance.
Provide guidance and consultation regarding hazardous materials, fire safety inspections, and other related activities.
Utilize a variety of monitoring, sampling, and analytical equipment and instruments to gather and enter data records.
Maintains knowledge of changes in state safety codes and regulations as applicable.
Monitors and records functionality facility and location of equipment and other related items.
Plans and coordinates inspections, audits, and monitors assigned facilities for procedural compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
