Basic Job Functions:
The basic functions of the Safety Clerk are as follows:
- Provide administrative support for the safety department such as: purchase requisitions, supply management, scheduling training, coordinating new hire orientation, etc.
- Prepare and effectively maintain the various weekly, monthly, and annual safety reports
- Record retention and database management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to learn new software and programs
- Active participation in safety programs and initiatives
