Your day as a SAFe Agile Coach

Join our team at IntePros Federal as an Agile Coach and contribute to the success of our Federal customer located in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting Agile Transformation efforts based on the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) values and principles. Your expertise will be crucial in helping all members and stakeholders understand and embrace the lean-agile mindset.

Working across organizational boundaries, you will facilitate effective communication and collaboration, ensuring that best practices are adapted to align with the Agency's plans and objectives. As part of the Value Management Office (VMO) and Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), you will have the opportunity to develop standards, coach teams, and facilitate their adoption of agile practices. Your responsibilities will also include creating and delivering Agile workshops, providing visibility into team performance, and supporting the implementation of the Agile Community of Practice.

Requirements for this SAFe Agile Coach job

To excel in this role as an Agile Coach, you will need a diverse set of skills and experience. You should possess an open mindset and be able to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently, all while supporting a common vision. Previous experience in effectively coaching agile practices at all levels of an organization is essential, along with a strong understanding and knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). A proven track record of implementing agile techniques in various work cultures and environments is highly advantageous.

Your ability to facilitate, collaborate, lead, train, and coach will be critical to your success in this position. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively convey information and ideas. Adeptness in conflict management and resolution is also crucial. Certifications such as SAFe Agilist (SA6), SAFe ScrumMaster (SSM6), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) or equivalent are required.

Familiarity with Agile delivery and ALM tools such as Jira, TFS/Azure DevOps, as well as expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and ServiceNow's Platform and Project Portfolio Module(s) (PPM) is important.   • US Federal Government experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments.
  • Strong skills facilitating,collaborating,leading,training and coaching.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to obtain a DOJ Public Trust clearance.
  • Expert understanding of metrics and measurements used to determine team performance.
  • Experience working with technologist and business leaders.
  • Conflict Management and resolution.
  • SAFe Agilist (SA6)
  • SAFe ScrumMaster (SSM6) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) certification
  • Experience utilizing agile delivery/ALM tools (Jira TFS/Azure DevOps). 
  • Expert with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
  • MS Teams and MS SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow (SN)'s Platform and the Project Portfolio Module(s) (PPM).
