- 60 college credit hours preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete a minimum of 12 hours of training on a yearly basis
- Ensure quality supervision of students at all times
- Supervise the compliance of staff with established program guidelines and procedures
- Complete training in the serving of snacks and perform food service duties following health guidelines as assigned
- Complete training in the areas of first aid and CPR, reporting any injuries immediately to the SACC coordinator or completing the appropriate documentation for the coordinator in their absence
- Follow established safety procedures including emergency drills (fire/tornado/earthquake) and student release procedures
- Model expectations for students by setting an example with self-care (hand-washing, for example), use of language/gestures, relationships of respect with S.A.C.C. students, staff and parents, respect and care of program materials, and following directions given by S.A.C.C. coordinator
- Coordinate the opening (6 a.m.) and closing (6 p.m.) of the program with the coordinator
- Other duties as may be assigned
