Job Description
The Commander's Action Group (CAG) office oversees executive support and related products for the joint aspects of the S4S General Officer senior leadership.
Overview of Services:
The CAG will interface with HHQ and USSF Service Component to ensure coordination and deconfliction of messages related to the joint executive support and related products for the commander as detailed in the activities described in this requirement.
The Contractor shall support the S4S in all aspects of executive support for the Commander S4S. This includes:
Provide technical support for CAG Strategic Design activities. Products resulting from this task may include, but are not limited to documents, briefings, presentations, papers and scripts. Within the timelines established by the executive team, the Contractor shall assist S4S CAG by:
- Creating abstracts, initial drafts, final drafts and final materials for strategic intent documents, strategic-level plans and messages, and mission, vision, and priority statements, and updating these documents when directed
- Creating a strategic-level communications plan outlining themes, messages, and soundbites for use by the Commander in public speaking engagements, articles for publication, and other outreach vehicles for presentation to military, civic, academic, and governmental audiences, updating the document when directed.
- Participating in the Strategic Engagement Board, and providing recommendations for Commander speaking engagements, symposia, and other public engagement events.
Support strategic messaging and engagement activities. Products resulting from this task may include, but are not limited to documents, briefings, presentations, papers and scripts. Within the timelines established by the executive team, the Contractor shall assist S4S CAG by:
- Creating abstracts, initial drafts, final drafts and final materials for Commander scheduled and unscheduled speaking engagements, such as impromptu remarks, introductory remarks, keynote speeches, policy pronouncements, and 'messages to the troops.'
- Crafting informal remarks for the Commander using the traditional 'blue card' format.
- Crafting scripts for recorded and virtual messages to S4S members.
- Conducting research and analysis of topics in public speaking engagements in accordance with the approved strategic communications plan.
- Provide facilitation of pre-event planning, on-site coordination, preparation of presentation materials, and post-event activities for designated Government and interagency conferences, symposia, workshops, Distinguished Visitor (DV) visits, and other forums and speaking engagements to support S4S strategic messaging and engagement. Activities may include but are not limited to: development of agenda topics and handouts, preparing invites, facilitating conferences and writing workshops, drafting abstracts, speeches and presentation materials related to intent documents, strategic-level plans and messages, and mission, vision, and priority statements. Create event books/briefings/background papers on topics as directed.
- Deep experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content.
- Experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for mission and program challenges.
- Has the specific skills, knowledge, and comprehension to perform all task functions quickly and accurately without supervision or assistance.

Required Education: BA/BS OR MA/MS desired
