Position Purpose

The S-64 Sales Representative is responsible to grow sales within Erickson's customer base. This position will support business strategy and execute plans for the growth and diversification of our business by leveraging Manufacturing and MRO capabilities. The key objectives of this position are to manage key accounts and relationships with Operators (including internal customer), identify opportunities, expand our network, and grow and win opportunities within our targeted customer base. This position will focus on supporting front end sales activities, the capture, proposal, and bid processes, as well as supporting internal stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responding to client correspondence, calls, emails etc. and fielding their questions and responds promptly to customer requests.
  • Formalizes and follows up on sales quotes and sales orders.
  • Works with logistics personnel to facilitate shipping, customs, and exporting.
  • Provides timely and accurate sales reports.
  • Checks for data accuracy.
  • Contacts customers to obtain missing information or answer queries.
  • Liaises with various internal departments to execute on sales orders.
  • Creates and updates sales and customer records.
  • Communicates key feedback from customers internally as requested.
  • Stays informed regarding new products and services.
  • Books client visits for account management.
  • Books presentation meetings for sales staff.
  • Ensures all accounts have current signed contracts.
  • Helps with client communication to include personal visits, blogs, blips e-mail, etc...
  • Plays an active role in bid and proposal process for business pursuits.
  • Performs other tasks related to the position, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or at least 5 years' experience in a related field/industry.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Associate or other relevant roles.
  • Aviation experience as mechanic, technician, or technical discipline required
  • Experience with Customer Resource Management (CRM) software preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Team-player mindset with high level of dedication to raising the bar for the whole team.
  • Perform quality work and meet the objectives.
  • Ability to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.
  • Experience with Sales Force preferred.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to change and shift priorities as needed.
