RV Warranty administrator, claims

Job description

• Must have 1-2 years RV warranty experience in order to apply.

Process warranty claims on a timely basis for all distributors or franchise.

Verified criteria required by factory or manufacturer.

Reconciles warranty receivables with payment.

Posts payments and credits

Resubmits rejected claim or received authorization to close.

Follows up on payments of outstanding claims.

Tracks warranty parts, receips, RO numbers and when or if used parts can be scrapped.

Keeps informed of recalls. Sumit claims for recalls and track replacement parts for recalls

Other tasks as assigned.

• Answers incoming telephone calls, and responds in a courteous and professional manner
• Assists service advisor in scheduling service appointments according to scheduling policies
• Greets all incoming customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Assists service advisors in write up of incoming customers work orders
• Obtains any needed warranty or customer authorization prior to working on unit including taking of pictures, faxing in for authorization or any / all procedures as prescribed in the manufacturer's warranty policy & procedure manuals
• Follows up on all warranty receivables to ensure payment in timely manner, contacting customers as needed to schedule appointments for special order parts
• May required to assist in ordering parts and or assisting the service advisor and other employees in regards to warranty claims, processes, and status of claims and RO's and Work orders.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• RV warranty admin: 1 year (Required)
