The Rubber Press operator will ensure machinery is operating to optimal standards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, operate and tend machinery used for mixing, calendaring, extruding, moldings and curing rubber materials or rubber products
- Check and monitor processing conditions and product quality
- Adjust machines to proper setting as required
- Train or assist in training new workers.
- Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required
- Have knowledge of ISO and Aerospace standards - preferred but not required

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing
