We are looking for RU (Radio Unit) Interoperability Engineer at Littleton/Denver, Colorado for long term contract role.

Required skills:
- Open Ran is preferred - required.
- Oran integration knowledge
- LTE - 5G NR RAN
- 10 years with LTE 5 years of 5G is preferred.
- Required to be based in Littleton, CO
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters or PHD will be favorable)
- MS Degree in EE or CS or equivalent
- Ten years of experience in Radio Access Network (RAN) systems or combined experience
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of LTE, 5G and network architecture specifically focused on RAN systems
- Minimum 7 to 10 years with protocol analyzers, test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators is a plus.
- Direct hands-on product experience and knowledge working with Service Providers and Engineering for 5G, ORAN, vRAN, Cloud RAN and LTE solutions
- Strong knowledge in LTE Air Interface, PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers is required
- Ability to provide knowledge transfer and knowledge sharing to internal teams and colleagues
- Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
- Ability to contribute to Whitepapers
- Document project status, conduct analytics and write final reports. Conduct integration status meetings with partners, customers and internal teams as needed
- Strong organizational skills: disciplined w/ priorities, meets dates, handles multiple responsibilities
- Demonstrates leadership strength; self-motivated, accepts authority and responsibility
- Ability to work across boundaries and influence others outside the span of control

Technical Experience:
- Lead Software, Hardware and Firmware integration for LTE and 5G NR RAN----7 years
- Extensive experience troubleshooting (system logs, OS logs, UE logs, network logs)---7 years
- End to End Open RAN Integration Knowledge is required
- Familiarity with over-the-air testing of LTE, LTE-A, 5G NR, CPE and UE
- Understanding of 3GPP standards, call flows, KPIs
- Deep knowledge of BBU (L1, L2 and L3) signaling protocols
- Ability to provide a detailed analysis of NE logs and subscriber traces to pinpoint and resolve issues, including network troubleshooting of layer 2 and 3
- Fronthaul Interfaces: CPRI, eCPRI, RoE and IEEE 1914 and xRAN/oRAN (option 7.2 x) knowledge
- Wireless Standards/Organizations: 3GPP, IETF, ONAP, LTE, 5G NR and 802.11 protocols
- Thorough understanding of vRAN/ORAN architecture described in 3GPP standards (Rel 15 & 16)
- Provide ongoing technical deliverables, i.e. customer reports, RFx inputs, test cases, solution descriptions, network diagrams and solution reports.
- Responsible for the technical assurance of the overall wireless solution as it goes through technical scrutiny, performance evaluation, IOT, OSS Integration and FOA testing
- Development life-cycle process knowledge
- Experience with RAN products including cloud RAN, Software-defined networking, massive MIMO, 5G macros and small cell deployments
- Knowledge of PHY and MAC Layer and Embedded software
- Antenna design, beamforming and interference mitigation for 5G/4G is a plus
- Core experience: EPC and 5G NG Cores
- Network integration of RAN into mobile operator's experience is required
- Network Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP/IP and HTTP
- Software: Audit, Qualify and Evaluation of 3rd party software features and applications
- Testing: Design integration test plans for lab and field
- Test tools: Must have worked with an array of test equipment and tools
- Processes: familiar with engineering design process (design reviews, documentation, performance analysis and defect analysis)
- Software Development Processes: familiar with Waterfall, Agile and Scrum (Iterative)
- Familiar with NFV, Software virtualization, Virtual machines, containers and VNF's
- Overall system performance verification is required
