BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group - Lynchburg is currently seeking a RTR U-Moly Planner Scheduler for its Lynchburg, VA location!

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains detailed project schedules.
  • Publishes a project team report and conducts weekly team meetings.
  • Issues job orders to support project/area needs. 
  • Prioritizes engineering/operations/quality assurance to prevent license to work issues.
  • Interacts with cross department support groups to support all aspects of meeting project schedules.
  • Updates and maintains SAP inventory for RTR material.
  • Develops and tracks component start plans on progress throughout the year.
  • Supports creation of the RTR 3 Year Plan.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a technical field plus four (4) years of NOG-L experience OR a high school diploma or equivalent plus eight (8) years of NOG-L experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills in order to conduct meetings as needed with peers, FLM, engineers, managers, etc.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to function under schedule pressure.
  • Must possess previous manufacturing experience and understand how part work flow is critical to manufacturing.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of SAP, Solumina, and Microsoft Office Suite (including Project, Outlook, Word, IM software, and Powerpoint).
  • Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.

 

 

The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $62,000 and $109,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.  The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
