A day in the life of the CNC Router Operator would be:
- Calibrating and preparing CNC router machines for daily operations
- Examining work orders and technical drawings
- Entering cutting and shaping instructions into the machine if required
- Monitoring machine performance to ensure accuracy and quality
- Inspecting finished pieces to maintain high-quality standards
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on machines
- Safely loading and unloading materials for processing
- Keeping detailed records of work progress and any adjustments made
- Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues promptly
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors for effective production
- Cleaning up and organizing the workspace for the next shift
- Sharing insights and suggestions to enhance our processes
A few qualifications this person must have:
- Experience operating a CNC router (Multicam, Accu-Cut, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience using Enroute, SAi CNC, CAD/CAM design software
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programing
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- Ability to read and follow plans and instructions
- Must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines
- Ability to work with great concentration and precision
- Working with metals, wood, and plastics
- Familiarity with general shop machinery, tools, basic shop tools and hand tools
- Excellent communication sills
- Strong written and verbal skills required in English
- Skilled in organizing and planning in order to meet project needs and schedules
- Time management abilities
- Problem solving skills a must
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation DOE: $20 - $25 (DOE)
