Route Truck Driver with Outstanding Customer Relations Care

Eclipse Outdoor is the industry leading manufacturer of custom-made shade products, located 1760 Rt 211 E Middletown NY 10941. We offer a friendly, team orientated working environment with the opportunity for advancement in our growing company.

The truck: Automatic, Dually, Diesel pulling a 36’ trailer.

Driver Qualifications:

• · Long-distance driving
• · Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• · Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
• · Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and
• federal regulations
• · Recording cargo deliveries
• · Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving.
• · Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• · Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
• · Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
• · Reporting defects, accidents, and violations
• · Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)

Customer Relations Qualifications:

• Communicating and coordinating with Customers
• Building and Maintaining relationships with customers
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Assisting customers with unloading freight

· CDL – Preferred

• Schedule:

· Must be flexible with work schedule.

Requirements

• Based should be no more then 1.5 hours from Middletown, NY
• 21+ years of age
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR
• Able to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily and lift to 100lbs
• with assistance.
