JOB SUMMARY:

The Route Specialist will serve as an integral part of the team, utilizing his or her technical knowledge about the Water Treatment industry to recommend and apply basic Water Treatment applications and solutions to customers, as well as communicate program results to the Company's Account Managers, Account Specialists, and customers.

JOB DUTIES:

• Project professional image of the Company through positive attitude, punctual and reliable attendance at all appointments
• Follow all legal safety regulations, as well as procedures set forth by both Company and customers
• Work onsite at customer locations to provide routine service to ensure Water Treatment program is operating within optimal ranges and provide service reports to customers at each visit
• Communicate summaries of services performed to applicable Account Managers and Account Specialists
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound Water Treatment recommendations to customers
• Manage customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sites
• Provide customers with quotes and place orders as needed
• Other duties as assigned
• Local travel is expected and ongoing; travel approximately 5% outside of assigned region

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in Industrial Water Treatment or related field
• Valid driver’s license and committment to abiding by Company standards for operating a motor vehicle
• Mechanical/technical aptitude
• Team-oriented personality and willingness to provide support for team members as required
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and without supervision; effectively plan, organize and execute activities
• Ability to understand technical properties and functionality of product portfolio
• Be able to physically provide service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments
• Attend Company's safety training on an annual basis

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of experience in Industrial Water Treatment or related field
• Associate's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Working knowledge of water-cooled air conditioning/cooling tower systems, steam generation, and chilled/hot/process water closed-loop systems (PREFERRED)
