Job description

As a Route Relief Salesperson for Kowalski Companies, Inc., you will be responsible for servicing an established and potential customer base, ensuring product availability, and maximizing sales opportunities within a designated route. Your primary goal is to meet and
exceed sales targets while providing top-notch customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Service and maintain a predefined route, visiting customers on a regular basis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Sell company products to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure Kowalski products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and merchandised for maximum visibility.
  • Monitor product freshness and quality, rotating stock to minimize waste.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer preferences, and competition.
  • Prospect for new accounts.
  • Special projects at Kowalski headquarters.

Required Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years previous sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move product inventory.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Route Area could include but not limited to, Metro Detroit, Brighton, East Lansing, Lansing, Okemos, Jackson, and Ann Arbor, MI.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
