DRIVER SUMMARY

The Route Delivery Driver will drive and deliver Frozen, Refrigerated, and dry food items to our customers in an efficient, polite, and friendly manner. This individual must have proven work experience, valid CDL A and/or B driver's license, capability to drive Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, DC with the ability to operate trucks under various weather and traffic conditions.

GENERAL DRIVER DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

• Drive 26’ to 32’ trucks to various routes under safety guidelines and regulations.
• Deliver with customer service professionalism, such items as refrigerated and frozen foods, janitorial supplies, paper products, specialty foods, and other products.
• Collect signatures upon delivery, and possible payments from customers.
• Listen and help resolve service complaints.
• Pick up refused or unwanted merchandise.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections.

DRIVER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and/or valid class B or A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 2 years driver experience preferred.
• Understand and comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Understand and follow all FMCSA regulations.
• Must be able to pass an initial drug screening, random testing, and background check.
• Available to work Saturday’s.
• Available to work overtime as per business necessity.
• Available to work certain holidays.
