Route Delivery Driver

Hall's Culligan of Omaha is looking for an outgoing, upbeat team member who is driven to succeed as our new RouteDelivery Driver.

As a Route Driver with Culligan, you'll be responsible for a daily route with no overnight deliveries. Culligan has been a trusted household brand for 80 years. Not only are we a stable company, we are growing!

Responsibilities

• Deliver first class customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and build loyalty with the customers on established route.
• Represent the Company and Culligan brand professionally, knowledgeably, and positively at all times.
• Check truck each day before leaving the warehouse to ensure it is loaded correctly and with adequate product to complete the scheduled route.
• Complete all deliveries on route as scheduled, being sure to complete the route every day without skipping customer stops.
• Complete all ‘will-call’ tickets no later than the business day following the customer request.
• Customer Agreements and Route Sheets must be filled out completely, accurately, and legibly.
• Perform payment collection from customers and promptly turn in customer payments and daily activity sheets to the office staff at the completion of each workday.
• Adhere to the proper utilization of handheld palm units, while entering accurate information concerning the customer and abiding by all rules concerning its use.
• Conduct self in positive and cooperative tone with both customers and coworkers.
• Meet or exceed minimum requirements as defined by the Company Position Expectations and Minimum Requirements, with route completion rate to remain above 85% each month.
• Maintain vehicle, including cleanliness of both the interior and exterior, letting manager know immediately if there is damage or if routine maintenance is needed.
• Comply with any and all applicable water treatment vendor laws and regulations as well as Company policy and practices at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Physical, & DOT Drug Screen
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check per Company requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older and be able to successfully pass, and maintain, a driving record check to be insurable by the Company in order to operate a company vehicle
• Must be able to safely operate/drive company vehicles up to 26,001 lbs. on a daily basis for approximately 8-10 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 90lbs on a repetitive basis
• Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the duties required of this position
• 2-5 years of previous sales experience preferred but not required
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to self-direct activities and manage time to ensure productivity
• Ability to thrive and multi-task in an active working environment
• Demonstrated competency in Windows, and other software platforms
• Outstanding “team” attitude
