Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Rotating Equipment Technical Assistant through 4/17/2024 at 11:59 p.m. (CST).  

Rotating Equipment Technical Assistant is responsible for multiple aspects of RBU planning and operations, providing technical and data support in the area of: engine compliance, regulatory reporting of Rotating Equipment, and equipment availability metrics. Some examples of responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain accurate inventory of all Rotating Equipment inside Acts and Siteview.

  • Maintain RBU’s license to operate in regard to regulatory compliance associated with engines. This will require strong team work with Regulatory and Air.

  • Audit catalyst compliance weekly and write work orders for catalysts outside of regulatory limits.

  • Audit and store engine compliance results.

  • Publish and understand Rotating Equipment data such as: Mechanical availability, LPO, Regulatory compliance, maintenance activities, LOE expense, and fuel gas.

  • Administrator level ownership of multiple data systems such as SiteView, SharePoint, Acts, reporting systems, PowerBI, SMART, SAP, EC…etc

  • Provide AFE support for reconciling project estimated costs vs actual expense, utilizing PowerBI, Spotfire, or Excel.

  • Work closely with business partners to communicate regulatory compliance, invoicing, availability metrics, and COEM performance while building and maintaining relationships.

  • Processes all Rotating Equipment invoices for accurate coding and adherence to price books.

  • Data quality review and support for all personnel entering compressor downtime metrics into a system of record.

  • Has a deep understanding of regulatory requirements associated with engine operations in Colorado.

  • Assists in aligning RBU with Chevron’s corporate standards relating for FIRM.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • 3 years of professional work experience 

  • Computer skills/Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree

  • 5 years of professional work experience 

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.

  • Skilled in invoicing

Special Considerations:

Schedule will be 9/80 flex schedule. Monday and Friday are flex options office/home. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the Greeley office.

Relocation Options:

Relocationwill not beconsidered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignmentswill not beconsidered.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 64,400 – $ 134,000.The selected candidate’s compensation will be determined based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
