Job Description
SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Responsible for the room inspections of the Lodge guestrooms in accordance with the standards of cleanliness established by the Enterprise, with the highest standard of guest service at all times. Will assist in the daily cleaning of all rooms. Will be responsible for the training and re-training of new and existing employees
Requirements:SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- The Room Inspector/Trainer is responsible for the total and thorough cleaning of Lodge guest rooms, hallways, stair wells and storage rooms.
- Responsible for training of new staff, re-training of existing staff, room inspections and to include bed making, cleaning windows, washing walls, light fixtures, dusting furniture, vacuuming, and bathrooms, throughout a daily shift.
- The Room Inspector/Trainer will do projects as assigned, which may include helping in other areas and/or on other shifts when needed.
- The Room Inspector/Trainer is responsible for the Room Attendants and their duties in the absence of the supervisor when assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, or Senior Management
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for a Tribal Non-Gaming license.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace.
Experience: Experience as a room attendant level III or supervisor required.
Physical: Requires stamina for constant movement of walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, must have the ability to lift 40 pounds frequently. Must possess the hand and finger dexterity for using tools and equipment. Normal vision (or corrected to normal), including color acuity and depth perception and hearing.
