JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Room Attendant at our hotel, we have very high expectations for the product that you produce for our guests. We expect our team members to work well together as well as independently – depending on what is required. Our Room Attendants have an opportunity to make each room their masterpiece – transforming it into a thing of beauty at completion. Our Room Attendants should be friendly to one another and to our guests – always making eye contact with guests that pass by and greeting / welcoming them. In the end, we just want great people who have a positive attitude that are here to produce a great product for our guests.
JOB DUTIES
Ø Arrive to work at the properly scheduled time in the hotel approved uniform
Ø Familiarize yourself with the expectations of the brand with regards to proper cleaning, brand standards, and items of employee safety
Ø Utilize the proper cleaning chemicals [Ecolab products, Pledge, Sprayway glass cleaner] and the proper tools [cleaning rags, microfiber cloth, sticky roller, spray mop] to execute the job
Ø Every surface in the guest room and guest bathroom must be wiped and cleaned properly with the correct cleaning solution
Ø If not previously completed by a houseperson, all bedding, towels, and trash must be removed from the room and replaced by fresh towels and fresh bed linens. Also, notates missing or damaged items within rooms and inputs maintenance requests into Quore
Ø As needed, amenity items must be replaced (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, facial tissue, toilet tissue, laundry bag, coffee, cups, etc.)
Ø The television, microwave, HVAC, and all room lights should be checked to be sure they are in working order before exiting the room.
Ø After all surfaces have been wiped, beds made, and amenities restocked, the floors should be swept or sticky rolled and then mopped.
Ø Carts are to be neatly restocked at the end of every shift – preparing for a successful next shift
