Room Attendant is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas. Requirements include: the ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, remain on one's feet for extended periods of time, work respectfully with other team members, and provide excellent service.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
2. Cleans and maintains all public areas, storage areas and administrative areas.
3. Clean rooms on request.
4. Run supplies and service items to guestrooms as requested.
5. Dusts, vacuums and overall maintains all public areas, hallways, restaurants, bars, rest areas and other spaces assigned.
6. Polishes metalwork and furniture.
7. Collects linens for laundering and received and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations.
8. Vacuums floors.
9. Cleans restrooms.
10. Removes trash
11. Office cleaning.
12. Refurnish areas with supplies as required.
13. Removes and disposes of trash.
14. Clean outside areas.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of professional cleaning experience
2. Must be able to provide references
3. Reliability and attention to detail a MUST
4. Must be able to understand and follow instructions and company procedures
Physical Demands:
1. Move (push) 50 Lbs without assistance (i.e., a sofa or loveseat)
2. Lift 30 Lbs without assistance
3. Ability to perform routine work or the same task over and over again
4. Be able to stand for long periods of time
5. Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.33 per hour
