Essential Duties:
- Undergo training and sign the company’s contract.
- Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues.
- Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service.
- Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor.
- Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.
- Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests.
- Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass.
- Collect and remove trash and debris.
- Report, turn in and log all lost and found items.
- Clean upholstered furniture.
- Perform detailed deep cleans when required.
Safety and Standard Operational Procedures
- Completes safety and standard operational procedures training within the timeframe established by One Source Housekeeping Solutions.
- Clean and maintain all equipment daily. Report to your supervisor any safety hazard of all the equipment which you are using i.e., Vacuum cleaners.
- Use One Source management authorized cleaning chemicals and review the safety data sheet - “SDS” before using a cleaning chemical for the first time.
- Post caution signs as and when required.
- Comply with?Lost and Found?Policy of the Park and resort.
- Report any suspicious activity to your immediate supervisor or One Source management official.
Communication
- Communicate with management, supervisors, co-workers, vendors, client and guest in a respectful and courteous manner always.
- Attend daily briefings for?functions, events or daily workload distribution.
- Follow the occurrence notification process as dictated on the “Employee Handbook”, Attendance policy. Communicate any occurrence to your supervisor or a One Source management official leading your area or shift.
- Follow up a special cleaning?schedule?given by the housekeeping control desk.
- Have good knowledge of all resort and Park facilities, hours of operation, Restaurants, shops and function rooms. Assist Guest in Public Areas when required.
High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Available to work a flexible schedule, early mornings, day shift, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, dirt, dust, and other debris.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to perform sanitation duties.
Physical Requirements:
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
