ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER LEAD
Location: Minneapolis, MN
What you will do:
• Design, develop, and implement new and existing systems and features while delivering high quality solutions on time and within budget as part of the Application Development Service Team.
• Work across UCare departments, with a focus on planning and analysis activities to provide project timelines, risks, opportunities, costs, etc.
• Collaborate with business partners on design automation opportunities.
• Document and track current and future state business processes and requirements across multiple functional business areas.
• Facilitate requirements gathering within multiple business functional areas to develop a comprehensive business requirement document.
• Create functional and technical specifications and handle changes to requirements.
• Develop bots utilizing an automation tool.
• Define test scenarios, create test plans, and execute test scripts.
• Design, develop, and configure Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software systems to meet business process and application requirements.
• Understand and implement modern design patterns to facilitate code re-use and develop scalable/fault tolerant systems.
• Design and implement "helper" elements to improve automation performance and re-use (e.g., runtime configuration/settings).
• Perform code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for pre-UAT phases.
• Complete thorough testing of automation in training/ production environments.
• Understand and execute business processes from the workflow diagram to conceptualizing it as an automated solution.
• Support implementing enhancements and change requests as part of a structured change control process.
• Utilize the following tools and technologies: UiPath, APIs, and C#.
• Position allows working from home anywhere in the United States; HQ located at 500 Stinson Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413.
Position Requirements:
• The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field.
• The qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience in a software development position or closely related occupation.
• The qualified candidate must also have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience with all of the following: (a) designing, developing, and configuring Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software systems to meet business process and application requirements; (b) developing and testing automation workflows using UiPath; (c) supporting, improving, and maintaining RPA solutions on UiPath; (d) analyzing and remediating complex software defects and providing recommendations for enhancements; (e) researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC); and (f) utilizing the following tools and technologies: UiPath, APIs, and C#.
• All experience may be gained concurrently.
