ASRC Federal System Solutions is looking for a Robotics Engineer Intern to support our NASA customer in Greenbelt, MD. This position will support hardware design and fabrication for robotic ground demonstrations; continue development of small robotic systems for public outreach.

- Assist with test facility setup and integration and testing of new robotic systems
- Develop new modes and features for small robotic arms used for outreach activities
- Support robotic operators during ground test activities for OSAM-1, Mars Sample Return, and other missions
- Part-time position
Requirements
- Experience with electronics
- Experience with MATLAB
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Python, including developing functions and debugging code
- Experience designing and fabricating parts
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be an undergraduate student in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year.
