Responsibilities

 

What you'll be challenged to do:

The Downtown Chicago and Schaumburg offices are looking for a part time, summer or fall intern to help with a variety of projects encompassing several different aspects of civil engineering.  Intern will be responsible for assisting project engineers and project managers with design and administrative tasks.

 

• Assist regional office in various tasks related to Civil Engineering including design, analysis, reports, and plan production.
• Provide weekly status updates
• Attend weekly project and/or team meetings
• Will learn proficiency in computer-aided drafting and design software. (MicroStation, Geopak and Open Roads Designer)

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:

• Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or equivalent
• Candidate must be a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior when starting the Fall 2023 Semester
• Must be eager to learn, be flexible and be a team player.
• Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
