Lone Rock Logging is hiring for an experienced Grader Operator to join our team. 

This is a permanent, full-time, hourly position.

Primary job duties will be operating a grader for road surfacing and maintenance of Lone Rock Resources’ Forest Road network, other duties may include operating a roller, front-end loader and small dozer.  Typical weekly schedule ranges from 50 – 70 hours per week, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work.  Lone Rock’s equipment fleet includes newer, climate-controlled machines, which are expertly serviced by our company mechanics to keep them operating consistently and effectively year-around.  Company pickup and travel-rate is provided for travel to job site locations throughout southwestern Oregon.  Starting hourly wage depends on experience that matches Lone Rock’s needs. 

Minimum Job Requirements:

·         A minimum of 2-years’ experience operating a grader for road surfacing and maintenance.

·         Demonstrated experience processing rock on surfacing projects. 

·         A valid and current driver’s License.

·         Good listening and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to work extended hours (includes travel to job site) during summer construction season.

·         Ability to efficiently and effectively manage dump trucks, truck and trailer, belly dump, and water truck drivers to provide rock and water haul to job site in a safe and efficient matter.

·         Ability to chain up and unchain a grader for winter snow plow.
