The Road Tester conducts road tests to determine a driver’s qualifications and abilities, while also providing critical feedback to assist in improving our driver's competencies.
Road Testers also escort or transport drivers to and from orientation, and may potentially be required to drive trucks back to the job site.
*** We are looking for individuals who are available to work a weekly schedule including some weekends. This position requires a current CDL (Commercial Driver's License - Class A)***
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday – Friday (Weekend Availability) starting at $22 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Strong Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Perform road tests for Company, B1, and Visa Drivers.
- Observe driving techniques in highway and urban driving conditions and parking areas.
- Observe and report drivers’ actions during their road test.
- Provide feedback on how drivers can improve their performance and driving ability.
- Ensure the company safety rules are always followed by drivers operating equipment while under their supervision.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Degree (GED).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience driving a truck with a 53 foot trailer.
- Possesses a current Class A CDL.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
