Road Service Coordinator

Position Overview: A Road Service Coordinatormanages roadside situations by collecting information from company drivers and driver managers. Uses the information to determine repairs needed and the best course of action to limit cost and restore service as fast as possible.

Schedule: Night shift | Rotating schedule: Tuesday- Thursday, every other Friday | 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.
The schedule alternates between working four days followed by three days off, and then working three days followed by four days off.

Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls and emails from 10 Roads’ operations, drivers, safety, etc.
• Gather and organize information in our Road Service App database.
• Once familiar with all available 10 Roads resources, advise practical business solutions for breakdown situations.
• When necessary, talk the driver through practical steps to help diagnose the issue with the equipment over the phone.
• Dispatch and issue payment to outside vendors when necessary.
• Scan and attach invoices to work orders.
• Enter work orders into Maintenance Manager database.
• Flexible availability.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 Years of call center experience.
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills.
• Basic background & knowledge on Class 8 diesel trucks preferred.
• Capacity to learn & increase mechanical knowledge.
• Parts/Service experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test and motor vehicle record check and not have any DUI or Drug Convictions in the last five years.
• Effectively read, write & understand verbal instructions in English.
