Salary```Duties:```
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings in medical records.
- Assist with basic life support measures in emergency situations.
- Insert and maintain intravenous (IV) lines as needed.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
```Qualifications:```
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with a current and valid license.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in medication administration and knowledgeable about different medications.
- Familiarity with medical records documentation and electronic health records systems.
- Skilled in performing venipuncture and collecting blood samples for testing.
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required.
- Competent in IV insertion and maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals.
