GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider, the Integrated Patient Coordinator (IPC) uses sound nursing judgment in provision of nursing care. Performs a variety of both technical and routine nursing services. Collaborates with health care team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the nursing care plan. Demonstrates clinical competence.
IPC coordinator will respond to in-basket messages, conduct WebEx/Teams pre-visit calls with patients, manage referrals, scheduled appointments.

This is a remote position. 8am-8-pm Sat and evening shifts are required.
Contingent position no benefits.
Hourly rate of pay for this position $22.03-$30.00 an hour.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School OR RN Nursing Program.
- Previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Successful completion of the HFMG pharmacology exam.
- Current BLS or ACLS certificate per HFHS policy.
