The Correctional Care Registered Nurse is a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing care for a diverse population of patients within the Wright County jail located in Buffalo, MN. This RN position is located within the jail and will be working with the inmate population for acute and chronic healthcare conditions. Experience working in mental health is strongly preferred.
Schedule Options:
- 32-48 hours per 2-week pay period. Hours between 7am-10pm, every 4th weekend, and rotating holidays.
- 48 hours per 2-week pay period, 1:30pm-10pm, every 4th weekend, and rotating holidays. (We can consider every other weekend for those who want more hours)
- 64 hours per 2-week pay period, 1:30pm-10pm, every 4th weekend, and rotating holidays. (We can consider every other weekend for those who want more hours)
Pay:
- Entry level pay $34.04 however, we pay more for experience.
- Add an additional 6%.
- We also offer shift differentials.
Education in Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license in MN required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (RN) in the State of Minnesota
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.
Additional Requirement:
- BCA and county background check required for working in the jail.
